This movie is crazyyyyy. Really great introduction to Bollywood with all the absurbity
I may love making art, but I arguably love consuming media even more, specifically movies. Ive been a Letterboxd warrior for many years now, but I thought it might be fun to document some of the stuff I watch on here

This movie was really enjoyable. I havent watched anything from marvel since the shitshow that was Thor: Love and Thunder, and so though a little bit weary going in, I was pleasantly surprised. Though I felt it dragging a little at some points (hard to keep momemtum going for almost 3 hours), there was plenty of visual stimuli and generally good storytelling to keep me interested throughout. They also did a realy good job handling the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman in universe, which I was really concerned about after the Carry Fisher debacle.
The costumes were also gorgeous!!! One dress in particular, worn by Queen Ramonda only once, stood out to me in particular due to the exquisite detail. Its hard to tell in this picture, but the entire piece is handbeaded which was really stunning on the big screen.

I really enjoyed this movie. I went in expecting the tone of a typical early millennium rom com, which, though sweet, are often meanspirited in their comedy, especially towards neurodivergent characters. That 2000's cruelty is absent here, with the majority of the characters in the small Wisconsin town our characters live in being so sweet and compassionate to Lars that I had to stop myself from being overly cynical and rolling my eyes a couple times. Also Bianca serves cunt.
